    A: For Training: GEL-DS Trainer® and GEL-DS SkySpeed®.  For Racing: GEL-Tarther® for half-marathons and marathons and Piranha® SP for 5Ks and 10Ks.

    Q: What is your pre-race meal?    
    A: The night before: A good steak with mashed potatoes (rice or pasta) and vegetables.  The morning before the race: One Clif Protein Bar (20g), 2 slices of bread with cream cheese and jam, and one package of Clif Shot Bloks, and I am ready to go!

    Q: Do you have any superstitions or good luck charms?    
    A: No superstitions. I wear my lucky ring (a present from my husband) and a special bracelet from the Orthodox Church (my younger brothers gave it to me :)
